Saying "See Ya Later......"

Getting ready for a big trip triggers all control mechanisms. What do we take care of every day? What to we use as our guideposts to know that all is well in our everyday life? When you go away, far away for a while you have to let go of those......but something inside rebels. What if I don't come back? What if something happens? And what if a pipe breaks? Well, yesterday, the pipe broke.

So in this situation you can say,  @##@***!!! or you can say, thank goodness. Thank goodness it did not happen while we were away..... it is all perspective you know..... but the tension is high putting all the loose ends together. In this case the ends will get together when we get back....just have time to cap it off.

And then there is what you are going to miss...... like the harvest.....

And the vineyard.....

And the roses that will not be there when you return.....time will pick it from the garden.....

But most of all it is the dog.............

Dearest Roxy, we will miss you so much....have to think that she will be on vacation too with friends to play with....

So soon we are off to Dubai..... 15 1/2 hour flight and 15 hour lay over.......should be interesting....then off to Durban, South Africa.
